In a throwaway paragraph in a blogpost talking about the future of WoW and Hearthstone, Blizzard has revealed that it’s working on a mobile game set in the Warcraft universe.

Beyond World of Warcraft and Hearthstone, we’re preparing to get the first game in the Warcraft Universe designed for mobile into your hands. We will tell you more about it in May.

And that’s it. That’s all the information we’ve got to share with you. It might be WoW mobile, it might be a mobile version of one of the Warcraft strategy games. It’ll almost certainly be something else, though.
We’re all going to have to wait until May to find out. May isn’t really that far away, though, so we think we’ll probably survive.
With Diablo Immortal also on the way – at some point in the future, probably – it looks like Blizzard is starting to make a move into the world of mobile gaming. What that might look like, only time will tell. Like, two months of time.
