Over a year ago, a job listing hinted at Call of Duty: Warzone coming to mobile. Since then, we hadn’t heard much about it, but saw multiple big content updates for the massively popular Call of Duty Mobile(Free). Today, Activision has officially announced that Call of Duty: Warzone is coming to mobile and it is being developed natively for the platform. Call of Duty: Warzone is aiming to be a mobile AAA experience bringing the large-scale action of the PC and console game to players on the go. Activision is currently recruiting for various teams relating to Call of Duty: Warzone on mobile from production to marketing and engineering. Activision also says that Call of Duty: Warzone for mobile will be designed to entertain players around the world for many years. Watch the Call of Duty: Warzone trailer below:
Activision is currently recruiting for Call of Duty: Warzone on mobile across its many internal studios including Solid State Studios, Beenox, Digital Legends and Demonware. Details for where to apply are here. Call of Duty: Warzone continues to grow on PC and consoles across each yearly Call of Duty premium release as a free to play game. It is going to be interesting to see what carries over across the mobile and PC/console version of Call of Duty: Warzone when the former is officially showcased with actual gameplay. Call of Duty: Mobile is a very polished experience and given how good Call of Duty: Warzone is on consoles, I have high expectations of it on mobile. If you’ve not played Call of Duty: Mobile yet and want to see how it feels on the go, you can download it for free on the App Store here and Google Play here. Have you played Call of Duty: Warzone on PC or consoles yet and what would you like to see in Call of Duty: Warzone on mobile?
