Laser Dog has made some really rather excellent mobile games. From the frantic action of HoPiKo to the also frantic action of Don’t Grind, as well as the brilliant Alone… And now it’s launching a new one. Wicked.
Said game is called Catchee, and it’s all about catching things as they fall down the screen. You’re controlling a bowl. Or a bucket. Some kind of receptacle.
The game also features an amazing soundtrack that’s going to get stuck in your head. Here. Watch the trailer and try not to start humming one of the hooks you hear. Good luck.
When the game lands on Thursday, it’s going to be free to play, with some IAPs to get extra currency and things like that. But don’t let that put you off, because the game looks great.
We’ll remind you at some point in the future that Catchee has come out, because that’s the kind of thing we do. In the meantime, why not watch the trailer again. Trailers are cool.
