Netmarble has revealed that a Western Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds release date is on the horizon. Any fans of the series may have had keen eyes on it when it came out in certain countries last year. An MMORPG on your phone full of gorgeous art and wacky fantasy? Sign me up. So, for many of us, it has been a long, long wait. But there’s not long left, as the game is coming out later this year.
Developed by Netmarble – a Korean mobile gaming juggernaut – and published by Level-5, Cross Worlds tells the story of some ordinary kids ending up in a virtual reality game called Soul Diver. Eventually, they notice that it actually connects to the real world, and therein the story unfolds. Sounds pretty cool, and we’ll get to see it for ourselves soon enough when the Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds release date arrives.
The legendary Studio Ghibli did the animation for Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch, so the series has some prestige in that regard. While they don’t have any involvement this time around, it doesn’t stop the game from looking gorgeous. Oh, and the game has been unbelievably successful since its original release, so things aren’t looking too shabby at all.

I love games that don’t mess around. No frills or fluff, just “Here’s what I am and here’s what you get.” That’s the vibe I get from Jump Jerboa from self-described “mostly solo” developer Chinykian. This is a minimalist one-button platformer that features a Jerboa, which is a creature I wasn’t previously aware of. What’s …
Screenshot: Respawn Entertainment Titanfall, the game which catapulted Respawn Entertainment to the status of EA’s star studio, is being pulled from digital storefronts and subscription services on March 1, 2022. This, to me? Sucks. However—given the game’s recent brush with some very bad hacking—it isn’t particularly surprising either. Titanfall, at the time of its release, …
