Not long after announcing that Catan – World Explorers was going the way of the dodo, Niantic has revealed that another of its games is getting the old heave-ho. And this one is backed up by one of the biggest pop-culture phenomena of modern times. Yup, it’s time to lay down your wand and throw your cauldron under a bus, because Harry Potter: Wizards Unite is winding down operations. It’ll be live until January 31st next year, then that’ll be that. Niantic has announced a roadmap of events and changes that are going to come into force now that the game is limping towards the finish line.
